Podcast Production
On The Couch with Hooly
I was the show producer for the successful Australian motorsports podcast, On The Couch with Hooly, which regularly featured in Apple's Top 200 Sporting Podcast charts. All interviews were filmed and recorded in-person from our studio on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
As the producer I work across several roles, which included running the in-studio audio and video production, audio and video editing, copywriting, social media and web content creation, website design/maintenance and even featured on the show as the anchor.
Audio was recorded in studio using professional equipment from Rode and Adobe Audition software for editing. The episodes were hosted on OMNY and featured on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio and more.

Video Production
The video was recorded using a series of Panasonic cameras that were setup with lighting in studio and edited in Adobe Premier Pro. Each episode had a full length clip (approx. 1.5-2hrs) and several highlight clips (approx. 15min) that are hosted on YouTube.
Social Media
Across social media the show’s reach performed best with the sharing of reels to encourage listeners to subscribe on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Four of the best one minute clips were created in Premier Pro for each episode and shared across Instagram, TIKTOK, FaceBook and YouTube Shorts.
Website
The website was created to help boost the show’s presence and create a destination for fans, sponsors and guests to find all the content from each episode in one place. I designed the site using Squarespace and also created all the copy and design elements. When the show was running I was responsible for updating content as episodes were released.
